Inspire for Sleep Apnea

Tired of struggling with your CPAP machine? Inspire is a breakthrough treatment for obstructive sleep apnea that works from inside your body—using a small, implanted device to gently stimulate your airway muscles and keep your breathing normal while you sleep.

No more masks or hoses, just restful sleep.

Inspire FAQs

  • It’s an implanted device activated at bedtime with a handheld remote. It delivers gentle stimulation to keep your airway open during sleep.

  • Inspire is typically recommended for adults with moderate to severe OSA who cannot tolerate CPAP therapy.

  • The device is small and placed under the skin. Most patients report they don’t feel it while sleeping and quickly adjust to its use.

PAP Therapy

Breathe Easier, Sleep Better with PAP Therapy

If you suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) therapy is the most widely recommended and effective non-surgical treatment. By gently delivering pressurized air through a mask, PAP therapy keeps your airway open during sleep—helping you breathe normally and wake up feeling rested.

Types of PAP Therapy

  1. CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure):
Delivers a steady, fixed air pressure throughout the night.

  2. BiPAP (Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure):
Provides higher pressure when you inhale and lower pressure when you exhale—ideal for patients who find CPAP difficult.

  3. APAP (Auto-Adjusting Positive Airway Pressure):
Automatically adjusts pressure levels based on your breathing patterns throughout the night.

Benefits of PAP Therapy

  • Improved Sleep Quality: Reduces apneas, snoring, and nighttime awakenings.

  • Better Daytime Focus: Say goodbye to brain fog and fatigue.

  • Protects Long-Term Health:Helps lower the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and stroke.

PAP Therapy FAQs

  • It can take time to adjust, but modern machines are quiet and masks come in various styles to improve comfort and fit.

  • Other options like BiPAP, APAP, or oral appliances may be considered. Your ENT or sleep specialist will help find the best solution for you.

  • Many people feel a difference within the first few nights—more restful sleep, better mood, and increased energy.
