The Hinsdale Sleep Center, opened since April 2011, is located just east of the York Rd. and Ogden Ave. intersection in Hinsdale. Patients enter at dusk, and are free to go at dawn.

Snoring

Snoring is noisy breathing at night, which is not associated with medical complications, however it may affect bed-partner relationships. Once the patient is diagnosed with primary snoring, and obstructive sleep apnea has been eliminated as a possibility, then treatment options exist.

Sleep Apnea

Studies have shown that Obstructive Sleep Apnea, or OSA affects about 40 million Americans. To test for OSA, schedule an appointment with our sleep center to conduct a sleep study. This painless process will include monitoring of blood oxygen levels, heart tracing, snoring, brain wave activity, muscular activity and the number and frequency of obstructive episodes.

CPAP

Nasal CPAP delivers air into your airway through a specially designed nasal mask. The flow of air creates enough pressure when you inhale to keep your airway open. CPAP is considered the most effective nonsurgical treatment for the alleviation of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
